Blackdown Kits are an affordable, easy-to-install option for small, low-pitched green roofs, seeking to benefit from stormwater attenuation, improved thermal performance, sound reduction, reduced carbon consumption and all the other green roof benefits.
Suitable for free-standing structures with a roof pitch of 8° or less and areas no greater than 30 m², each green roof kit includes the following:
- 1.300g per m2 protection fleece.
- 2.300µm LDPE root barrier.
- 3.20mm recycled plastic drainage reservoir core with integral moisture retention/protection and filter fleeces with overlap joints.
- 4.50mm of growing medium (substrate).
- 5.Slow release nutrient source.
- 6.NatureMat® Sedum carpet
Fitting and care instructions are supplied with each kit.
The minimum order quantity for the Blackdown green roof kit is 2m2.
